Example 1: GWT and SVG

In order to give you a short impression of my work I put a project here, which I called ‘GwTurtle’. It is an oeuvre, which I did in a workless time between two projects. I did not only the programming of the examples, but also the associated library gwturtle.lib is written by me.

It is a matter of SVG vector graphics, which are build with GWT (Google Web Toolkit), thus they are executed in the browser as Javascript. They can be displayed in any browser that is capable of SVG (and also with Internet Explorer versions 6 to 8; in this case VML is generated instead of SVG).

The graphics adapt - as far as it makes sense - to the size of the browser window. Look and see by resizing the browser window!

The examples are kept simple. The clock I already like a lot whilst the appearance of the other ones still leaves room for improvements. Finally the examples are not the goal but the library, which is behind them.

You can download the complete code via Google Code.
